Ondo (Relationship Thermometer) Terms of Service
Effective date: October 5, 2026 (previous version: July 30, 2026)
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set forth the conditions of use of the "Ondo (Relationship Thermometer)" service (the "Service") provided by Ondo (Relationship Thermometer) (the "Operator") through the web (https://ondo.chat) and the Android app "Ondo (Relationship Thermometer)", as well as the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Operator and users.
Article 2 (Description of the Service)
- The Service analyzes messenger conversations (KakaoTalk, WhatsApp, LINE, Telegram, etc.) or conversation screenshots that users paste or import, and provides, free of charge, communication-pattern analysis results for reference purposes by relationship type (crush/partner, family, workplace, business client, group chat, etc.).
- As additional features, the Service provides result share links, compatibility test invitation links, and re-measurement email reminders.
- The Service is intended for entertainment and reference purposes only and does not replace professional psychological counseling or medical, legal or financial advice.
Article 3 (Eligible Age)
The Service may be used by persons 14 years old or older. Persons under 14 years old may use the Service only with the consent and under the supervision of their legal representative, and may not use the re-measurement reminder (email) feature.
Article 4 (User Responsibility for Uploaded Content)
- Users must upload only conversations in which they themselves participated.
- Users are responsible for obtaining consent to use the information of other parties (third parties) contained in a conversation for analysis.
- When uploading a group chat, users do so acknowledging that the other participants have not given explicit consent and accepting the resulting responsibility.
- Conversations with minor children ("Child" mode) must be used within the scope of the user's responsibilities as legal representative.
- Users must not use or disseminate the Service or analysis results for the purpose of defaming, insulting or damaging the reputation of others, and the Operator is not responsible for any disputes arising therefrom.
- Because share and invitation links can be viewed by anyone who knows the code, users must share them only with trusted parties and must obtain the other party's consent to the sharing of that party's results.
Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct and Restriction of Use)
The Operator may restrict use of the Service without prior notice in the following cases: ① sending an abnormally large number of requests using automated tools or the like; ② infringing the personal information or reputation of others; ③ misusing the sharing feature to post spam, advertisements or illegal content; ④ interfering with the normal operation of the Service or attempting to circumvent its security.
Article 6 (Nature of Analysis Results and Disclaimer)
- Analysis results are reference indicators combining rule-based statistics and AI analysis, and are not a definitive determination of the actual state of a relationship. AI may produce inaccurate or biased results.
- The Operator does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of results and, absent willful misconduct or gross negligence, is not liable for any damage arising from decisions or actions taken in reliance on the results.
- Results from the business client/business mode may not be used as a basis for business or investment decisions.
- The recommendation to consult a professional provided when concerning patterns are observed in "Child" mode is not a diagnosis.
Article 7 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
The Operator may change or suspend all or part of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons. During surges in usage, analysis may be temporarily restricted in accordance with daily usage limits. Because the Service is provided free of charge, the Operator is not liable for damage arising from such changes or suspension, unless otherwise specifically provided by applicable law.
Article 8 (Intellectual Property Rights)
Rights in the design, software, trademarks and other elements of the Service belong to the Operator. Rights in conversations uploaded by users belong to the users (and the conversation participants), and the Operator does not use them for any purpose other than providing the analysis. Users may freely share analysis results for personal purposes.
Article 9 (Protection of Personal Information)
Matters concerning the processing of personal information are governed by the separate Privacy Policy.
Article 10 (Advertising and Sponsorship)
The Operator may display advertisements within the Service and, on the web, may display voluntary sponsorship links (to external services such as PayPal, Ko-fi and Toss). Sponsorship is not linked to any feature or benefit, and payments are governed by the terms of the relevant external service. Sponsorship links are not displayed in the Android app.
Article 11 (Amendment of the Terms)
The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws, and will post a notice of any amendment within the Service from 7 days before its effective date (30 days before, if the amendment is unfavorable to users).
Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute shall be resolved in the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea. However, this does not affect the rights guaranteed to users by the mandatory laws of the consumer's country of residence.
